Jobs for America’s Graduates, Inc. is a national organization established in 1980 for the purpose of assisting young people at risk of not graduating from high school or entering the labor force with obtaining the skills necessary to transition successfully into a quality job, leading to a promising career.
JAG has recently opened its first Colorado office located at 1675 Broadway, Suite 1850, Denver, CO 80202, JAG-Colorado. JAG-Colorado was incorporated in Colorado in 2005 as a Nonprofit organization and successfully launched two programs on January 2006 at West High School and Fort Lupton High School.
JAG-Colorado, Inc. is a program designed to help youth stay in school through graduation and obtain the skills they need to transition successfully into the workforce or post-secondary education. It is based on a comprehensive program of services (including classroom instruction, mentoring, tutoring, work based learning, leadership development) provided during the school day, after school, and for 12 months following graduation.
JAG-Colorado intends to expand and implement the JAG model throughout Colorado with a comprehensive array of dropout prevention and youth career preparation services, including 12 months of post-graduation or year-end follow-up services.
